absent from Substack recently
attention has been taken up with lymphoma lessons, treatment, & surviving the treatment
Friends, I haven’t managed to post much here while in the midst Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (NHL) diagnosis and treatment. The posts I’ve managed to write are on Caring Bridge, as that’s more appropriate to such medical journey content than here. Please follow me there, if you’re interested in that journey.
When able, I’ll post concerning Dhamma and dukkha, the life and death dance, social ethics, compassion, and the inspiration of great authors like Virginia Woolfe and Dostoyevsky will appear here.
And please spare thoughts and heart for our fellow beings being bombed, evicted, persecuted, and otherwise traumatized.

I am so glad I found you here. I was perusing YouTube for dharma talks and there you were. This led me to seek you out and now I am a substacker. You have been a huge part of my learning and insights and i thank you for that. My heart hurts for the senseless killing and the absurdity of this moment in time. Dharma is the medicine for my mind, when I can let go to focus. I will be at cloud mountain in a few months and I do look forward to the peace that comes with it there. I will also find you on caring bridge. Much love and prayers to you and your family.
It's nice to have your presence here during this challenging time. Lots of beauty and dukkha. I find myself sometimes feeling that so much is "unreal," but then realize it is real.
